Racing
Experience/Background:
Started out
mountain biking in the mid-1990`s. Then
added the road mix. Spent a number of years going to North Carolina in
the spring for the Assault on Mt Mitchell century and in the fall for
the "Bridge to Bridge" century (which finishes on top of Grandfather
Mtn). First race was the Tour de Wolf Mtn bike bike race in 1999.
Thought I was going to puke my guts out at the end. Raced Cat 5 for a
season, then upgraded to 4`s - where I will likely retire as
three kids and limited time keep me out of most of the RR travels. |
