I have ridden in
Washington State through the dessert,Georgia, Arkansas and Tennessee
through the mountains,Florida + Mississippi coastlines, Louisiana
around LSU, I Rode from Pittsburg to shores of Lake Erie, + through the
hills of Kentucky. All of these places are great places to ride and see
but I have to say there isn`t any better riding then right here in
Memphis Tennessee when it is with the Memphis Velo Guys!!!!

Experience/Background:
I rode my bicycle
non-stop when I was a kid. It was
all I wanted to do until about 14 then I suddenly wanted to chase girls
and drive cars.(Go figure) Then about 1996 I decided I wanted a bike
again so I went out and bought $250 Schwinn Mt. Bike and started riding
around town on the sidewalks of Martin, TN. While I was going around to
some of the bike shops I heard tale of TRAILS!! I had to try that so I
went out in search of a trail to ride. As soon as I hit the dirt I was
hooked. I started going and riding every chance I had. Then something
got me to go to a race. I was really hooked after that. Next thing you
know I am training and trying to improve my fitness and what better way
to do that then some time on a road bike as well. Then I am doing group
tours and weekly rides and It just continues to escalate until I have
bikes worth more that the cars I owned. I have no regrets except for a
ride missed. My experiences have been great! I have felt the sand
beating me in the face and had tumble weeds chasing me down the road. I
have suffered up 8 mile climb. I have bonked too many times to count. I
have been lost on 100 mile rides that turned into 114 mile rides. But
most of all I have met some of the best people a guy could ever ask to
meet from the seat of a bicycle.
