Season Update: Meet in the parking lot at Bartlet
Performing Arts Center (BPAC) for a 5:45pm roll out. No route details
for this ride available at this time. If anyone would like to file a
report, please do so. This ride typically has three groups ranging in
speed from 15-17 mph, 17-19 mph, and 20+. The fast group is usually led
by Memphis Velo team members. Distances vary by the amount of daylight
available but will ultimately be about 32 miles during the hot summer.
The ride will leave promptly at 5:45 pm and there is no sweep.
Note
to New Riders: This is an excellent opportunity to ride
with a pack, meet some new folks and develop your skills. The ride
breaks into different paced groups after the turn onto
Memphis-Arlington Road. The faster riders put forth repeated hard
efforts throughout the ride. Hang on for dear life if you can or go to
the front and humble them all.
